FOUNDER

Abena Asante-Mensah

Founder & Executive Director

Abena is an environmental educator with over 12 years of experience working with schools across the Greater Accra Region. Her passion for merging childhood development with ecological stewardship gave birth to Green Sprout Network in 2021. Under her leadership, the initiative has transformed the grounds of over 8 schools and engaged more than 500 young learners in hands-on environmental education.

She holds a Bachelor of Education in Natural Sciences from the University of Education, Winneba, and has been recognised by the Ghana Education Service for outstanding community-based environmental work.
